National Corporate Housing is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer. This individual must have strong analytical, strategic planning, banking and equity relationships, global experience and strong communication skills, including an ability to work well with the chief executive officer, executive team, board members and other senior leaders.  The selected person needs to have a professional image and should have held CFO positions in other organizations.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Work with executive team and field operations in providing focus and leadership to drive business results.
  • Establish a track record of identifying improvement opportunities and then provide the leadership and teamwork skills, which will translate opportunity into results. Use project management skills to build and guide teams in meaningful continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help define the key metrics to drive business success and scalability, taking a proactive role in providing business units with predictive analytic data which can be used to identify trends and improve performance.
  • Ensure that accurate and timely financial reports are provided to corporate management and financial institutions, along with orchestrating planning and forecasting for the business.
  • Advise management as to the financial ramifications of operational alternatives, capital appropriations, control issues, reporting requirements, cost reduction evaluations, new business evaluations, etc. to assure sound business decisions are made.
  • Promote a pro-active perspective within the organization by identifying problematic situations before they occur and by identifying opportunities for the organization’s ongoing financial well-being.
  • Supervise the accounting, treasury, tax, FP&A, and other financial functions in the U.S. and internationally.
  • Forecast the expected performance and financial results quarterly and annually.
  • Identify, implement, and maintain a system of internal controls.
  • Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity of a company’s financial information
  • Lead development of a debt and capital sourcing strategy, to include sourcing new debt and capital sources.
  • Lead the Company’s relationship with its lender(s) and assure compliance with lender covenants.
  • Advise the Board of Directors on corporate financial strategies.
  • Support and promote National's mission statement, strategic vision, and value proposition to customers.
  • Manage or oversee the relationship with independent auditors
  • Hire, train and retain competent accounting and finance staff
  • Negotiating contracts
  • M&A activity – participate in
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
 
Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree or equivalent training preferred
  • 10+ years of successful Leadership experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of the Hospitality, Lodging, or Corporate Housing Industries.
  • Knowledge of revenue management.
  • Experience leading in a global organization
  • Experience building and maintaining banking and capital relationships
  • M&A experience
