Learn About This Location

Sixty-five miles north of Denver, Fort Collins sits on the seam of Colorado’s topographical divide. The plains stretch endlessly to the East, and just behind the foothills of the Rockies begin to rise.

Though Fort Collins is the foil to Colorado’s more rowdy college town, Boulder, calling FoCo an underdog is a bit unfair. The landscape isn’t as dramatic, the university not quite as prestigious and it doesn’t have the granola-crunching socialist ethos, but the bicycle-filled streets exude an unpretentious dynamism. This former farming community has developed into a city with lovely little areas, especially near the CSU campus and the restored historical buildings of downtown.
