Kansas City (often called "KCK" to differentiate from Kansas City, MO) is the third-largest city in the state of Kansas and the of the Kansas City metro area. As of 2010, the city had a population of 145,688. It's located at Kaw Point, at the confluence of the Missouri and Kansas rivers.
Kansas City has a number of buildings that are on the National Register of Historic Places. it also is home to the Archdiocese of Kansas City, which spans 12,500 square miles. Memorial Hall is a 3,500-seat indoor arena in the city's downtown, which hosts assemblies, concerts and sporting events.
