Malvern is a town in Chester County, Pennsylvania, twenty-five miles west of Philadelphia. The population was 3,000 as of 2010. 

Malvern was originally settled by Welsh immigrants in the 1600s who on land purchased from William Penn. Malvern is the site of the Paoli Massacre, which occurred in 1777, Revolutionary War under Gen. Anthony Wayne.
