The history of the Kentucky Towers is what makes this apartment community stand out above the rest. The building was 1st built in 1925 on the cornet of 5th of Walnut Street as the Kentucky Hotel. It was the last hotel build in downtown Ketucky Hotel before WWII. The late 1960's experienced a large growth in new apartment construction throughout the US. At the same time some buildings where converted into apartments, and in 1972 the Kentucky Hotel became the Kentucky Towers Apartments.
