Peruse the high-end permanent stores and enjoy the oh-so-modern wares of the many pop-up shops mixed throughout this multi-use, outdoor space.
One Place You Shouldn't Miss in L.A.
The automobile had a huge impact in making L.A. -- and indeed, much of America -- what it is today. The Petersen Automotive Museum pays homage to the role of the car with four floors of historical exhibits and more than 150 rare vehicles, including motorcycles. The entire third floor is devoted to the science of autos in a way that will appeal to the whole family. Of course, you can also see Herbie, Lightning McQueen and a host of other famous vehicles. Tickets start at $16 for an adult.
Dining in Los Angeles
