Olive Branch is a city in DeSoto County, Mississippi, and suburb of Memphis that had a population of 33,682 as of 2010. From 1990 to 2010 Olive Branch was the fastest growing city in the US, with an 838% growth rate. Along with other rapidly growing suburbs in the county, Olive Branch owes most of its growth to the movement of large numbers of middle-class families from central Memphis.
