Learn About This Location

Titusville is a community located in Mercer County, New Jersey, and includes a small village of homes and a large park dedicated to George Washington's crossing of the Delaware River. The city was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Titusville's main feature is a village perched on a bluff overlooking the Delaware River with stairs connecting the village to the docks. The Delaware & Raritan Canal runs next to the river east of the village. A biking/walking runs along the canal. Opposite the canal from the river are a number of small streets, a county park centered at Baldpate Mountain, and the homes hugging the base of the mountain.
