The city of Walnut Creek is located in the East Bay area of Northern California, United States. Walnut Creek is just under an hour and a half from both San Francisco International Airport and San Jose Airport. Mount Diablo State Park, the Briones Regional Park, Las Tampas Regional Wilderness and the Lindsay Wildlife experience all take place in Walnut Creek.
